First, Create a Magic Link
When you create your magic link, you’ll be able to claim it using the form at the bottom right of the screen, under your new QR code.
Claim Magic Link with a Phone Number
- After creating a magic link while not being logged in, you will be redirected to your new magic link page. Below the QR code, there will be an input field labelled “Phone number (starting with +)”.
- Enter your phone number including the country code in the provided input field.
- You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on your phone. Fill in the OTP in the designated input field.
- If you do not receive the OTP, there will be a “resend OTP” link below the input. Click this link to resend the OTP to your phone.
Claiming Your Link with an Email
- After creating a magic link while not being logged in, you will be redirected to your new magic link page. Below the QR code, there will be an input field labelled “Phone number (starting with +)”.
- Click the “Use email instead” link below the input field.
- Fill in your email. Make sure to use a valid work email. Disposable, temporary, and private email addresses will not work.
- The procedure will be the same as claiming your link with a phone number. You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) code on your email which you should fill in.
- If you do not receive the OTP, there will be a “resend OTP” link below the input. Click this link to resend the OTP to your email.
If you want to go back and use your phone instead, click “Use phone instead”.
Alternative: Create an Account
You can also just create an account and the magic link will automatically be associated to your new account. If you already have an account, you can log in, and the magic link will associate itself to your existing account.
